Dubai Introduces New Noise Radar System With Fines Up to AED 2,000
Dubai has recently introduced a new noise-detecting radar system as a measure to ensure that roads become safer. This city is trying to prevent loud, disruptive driving by using smart technology that listens, records, and identifies vehicles that produce excessive noise. The relocation will contribute to the current agenda of Dubai to curb noise pollution in residential and busy neighborhoods.

What the New Radars Do
The new radars embrace new sensors and AI. They identify tampered exhausts, loud in-car music, unnecessary honking and any vehicle that produces disturbing noise on the road. After the noise has been recorded by the system, it will associate the sound with the vehicle and record the hard evidence with the authorities.
Penalties for Noisy Driving
Dubai Police are concerned about road noise. Flouting the correct road etiquette attracts hard penalties on drivers, such as:
- Fines up to AED 2,000
- 12 black points
- Impound of vehicles, at release charges of up to AED 10,000.
The punitive measures are against those drivers who attach loud exhausts, play loud music, or create noise that disturbs the peace of the people.
More Radars Coming Soon
Authorities ensured that additional noise radars would be developed in more neighborhoods. This growth justifies the long-term objective of Dubai to reduce noise pollution and maintain the welfare of the communities. The law enforcers also desire drivers to embrace admirable road behaviors, particularly in residential areas where the problem of noise impacts on families, students, and old people residing.
A Step Toward Quieter Roads
The new radar system used in Dubai sends a simple message that noisy driving will no longer be accepted. Through strict enforcement and AI, the city will create safer, calmer, and peaceful streets for all.
