Paying for parking in Dubai is easy with the city’s mobile payment system, mParking. Simply text your vehicle’s plate number, area code, and parking duration to 7275 (PARK). You can also opt for hourly reminders for a small fee. This service is available for both Dubai and non-Dubai vehicles, ensuring a hassle-free parking experience for all.

Now parking can be paid for using WhatsApp by sending a message to +971 58 800 9090; the bay number and parking zone code will be used. Along with SMS, the RTA app, and the Parkin app, it is one of the official channels of payment. 

Paying Parking Fines Via  RTA Website:

Out of various convenient options, you can pay your parking fines from the RTA website. All you need to do is:

• Visit the official RTA website.
• Go to “Driver and Car Owner”
• Click on the “Parking” option and select “Pay public parking fines” from the menu
• Enter the required information like the vehicle’s plate number or the violation ticket number. 
• Click on the “Search” button to proceed with the next step
• Follow the steps to continue with the payment.
• Pick your payment method and fill in the details.
• Double-check the entered details and proceed to confirm the payment.
• Upon payment processing, expect a confirmation message or email.
• Retain the receipt or confirmation for your documentation.

RTA Dubai or Dubai Drive Application: 

Make your parking fee payments hassle-free by using the RTA Dubai or Dubai Drive application.

Many residents also now use the Dubai Now app, which has several government services combined under the ‘Driving’ section, such as parking/fines from RTA, as well as bank apps that enable them to make instant payments within the app itself. 

Paid Parking Machines: 

If you prefer a traditional approach, you can purchase parking tickets using coins from the nearest parking machine. Once you have your ticket, place it visibly on your vehicle’s dashboard as proof of payment.

Prepaid Cards: 

Take advantage of prepaid parking cards, available for purchase at grocery stores and supermarkets. 

Simply insert the card into the parking machine upon arrival, and the applicable parking charge will be deducted accordingly. These cards come in denominations of AED 30, AED 50, and AED 100.

For frequent parkers, seasonal parking cards offer a convenient solution. These cards, valid for three months, six months, or a year, can be purchased for selected parking lots in categories A and B.

Nol Card: 

Nol card holders can conveniently use their card to purchase parking tickets. The parking fee amount is automatically deducted from the card balance.

Banks with RFID: 

Citizens with RFID bank cards can effortlessly pay for parking fees using this method. Simply charge your RFID card and tap it on the designated payment device when making a parking payment. The required amount will be deducted from the card balance.

NFC on Smartphones: 

Smartphone users can utilize NFC technology to pay for parking charges with ease. By tapping your phone against the provided POS access points, you can securely complete your transaction. This feature is available on iPhone, Android, and Blackberry phones.

Standard paid parking is available Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM, as well as on Sundays from 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM, in all standard RTA parking areas. Free parking is also available after 10:00 PM any weekday. Note: this Sunday-free rule does not apply to multi-storey car parks, which charge AED 5/hour every day, including Sundays. Paid parking was operating during 2 shifts during Ramadan 2026 as follows: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm to midnight.

• In Gold/Red zones, customers may find lower rates in the watch period from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM or after 4:00 PM than in the 8-10 AM/ 4-8 PM peak periods.
